We are an international honorary organization of women educators dedicated to educational excellence, altruism, and world understanding. Headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, Alpha Delta Kappa has more than 1,200 chapters located in towns and cities in every state in the U.S., and around the world in Australia, Canada, Jamaica, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. There are sixteen chapters in Hawai’i – twelve on Oahu, one on Maui, two on the island of Hawai’i, and one on Kaua’i.
Our Maui Gamma Chapter was founded on May 19, 1967. Over the 58 years of our existence, Gamma sisters have made our presence in the community. Since 2012, $80,800 in scholarships have been awarded to 84 high school senior recipients to support them as they strive for a higher education. Every year we recorded over 2,000-3,000 volunteer hours and raise nearly + $14,000 through our chapter altruistic projects.
