Dexter Listavich
Dexter Listavich’s journey began at age 12, driven by an innate aptitude for complex string geometry and technical execution. His transition from beginner to elite competitor was remarkably swift; only one year after learning his first trick, Dexter debuted on the amateur stage at the National Yo-Yo Contest in Arizona.
By his second year of play, Dexter entered the professional circuit. His career has been defined by a relentless upward trajectory and an evolving freestyle routine that blends high-density technicality with commanding stage presence. This dedication culminated at the 2025 World Yo-Yo Contest in Prague, where Dexter secured a 14th-place finish in the world finals. At the March 2026 Pacific Northwest Regional contest, Dexter placed 1st in the Preliminary round and 4th in the Finals. He also placed 1st at the Central California Classic. Dexter is preparing to debut his 2026 World and National Finals routine and will be competing in the upcoming 2026 Northeast Regional Contest in Massachusetts.
Currently established as one of the premier players globally, Dexter is sponsored by W1LD (www.w1ldyoyo.com), which is a professional competitive yo-yo brand. Dexter is preparing to debut his 2026 World and National Finals routine.
